The City of Le Sueur Ambulance Services Department - Funding and Structure

Taxes and user fees pay for Ambulance Vehicles, equipment, maintenance and volunteer salaries. Residents of the service area, through tax dollars ($9.00/Household), pay for about one-third of the cost of operating the ambulance service. The other two-thirds is paid by 1) User Fees and 2) Private Donations.

The Ambulance Service is administered by an Executive Board. This Board is made up of:

  3. Secretary/Treasurer - Carolyn Burns
  4. Training Officer - Jim Felmlee
  5. Coordinator - Monica Muchow
