WHO CAN BRING THEIR MATERIALS TO THE SITE?

  • Residents who live in the City limits of Le Sueur.
  • All residents should be prepared to show their driver's license or an alternate form of identification if needed.
  • No waste from non-residential customers, contractors, businesses or those residing outside of City limits will be accepted.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS AND PREPARATION GUIDELINES

  • General "junk", furniture items (couches, chairs, mattresses, etc.), small quantities of remodeling materials.
  • Small metal products which can be hand lifted into a container for recycling.
  • Appliances: Household type only - All residents should be prepared to pay $20.00 per appliance.
  • All items must be boxed, bagged or contained in some manner. Please do not bring in "loose" loads of items which need to be off-loaded item by item. Absolutely no pickup loads of loose shingles will be accepted!

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS

  • NO yard waste or compost items, hazardous waste (paints, liquids, chemicals), motor oil or filters, car batteries, tires, fluorescent light bulbs, cement or asphalt, petroleum products or containers which contained petroleum products.

WASTE MANAGEMENT HAS THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE FINAL ACCEPTABILITY OF WASTE STREAM.
