Le Sueur Fire Department - Funding and Structure

Taxes, user fees and grants pay for Fire Department vehicles, equipment, maintenance and volunteer salaries. Townships covered by the service area pay a set leveed fee each year. User fees for residents living within the service area is $500/hour and outside the service area is $750/hour.
