What we do:
Educational Services: The Le Sueur Community Center works closely with area schools. Schools use the facility for physical education classes, team sports and extracurricular activities. Schools also use the Center for parties and rewards for students. Other Services & Benefits: The goal of the Park & Recreation Department is to provide as many services for as many members of the community as possible within our operating budget. We are fortunate to have a place for people of all ages to enjoy physical activity as participants and spectators.
How you can help: We are always looking for ways to improve our services. Please use our facilities and let us know what we can do to improve our offerings.
City of Le Sueur Park & Recreaton Department and Community Center provides recreational facilities and a variety of fitness and health classes for the entire family.
How we do it: The Le Sueur Community Center is owned and operated by the City of Le Sueur. Housed within the facility are a heated swimming pool, an arena for indoor ice with spectator area, gymnasium, two racquetball courts (convertible for wallyball), large meeting room, exercise room and weight room. There is also a concession area open during special events and a kitchenette in our large meeting room (Merrick Room). The outdoor pool is located next to Legion Park and is open during the summer months.
Park Rental: The City of Le Sueur has two beautiful parks that can be rented. Both park shelters have a kitchenette area with running water and restrooms. Park shelters can be reserved from Memorial Day weekend through fall park shut-down (when water is turned off, usually around November 1st). View more information about parks in Le Sueur.
