Adult Activities

We offer several activities & classes throughout the year for Adults.   You can register by stopping in at the Community Center or print a registration form and mail it along with your payment.  You can also register online.

Cardio Fitness Toning Aerobics   
Are you one who likes to move to the music?  It's GREAT exercise!  Instructors Jill Frank and Barb Schaffler will show you low or high impact moves to upbeat music.  Have fun while you get a great workout.
Sessions are 8 weeks long, you can choose to come once a week, twice a week or three times a week.  Sessions start every two months:  May/June, July/August, etc.  Sign up anytie and we will prorate the fee.

Days & Times:
Monday & Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Saturday from 8:30 - 9:30 am


 

Zumba
Zumba, it's the hottest new aerobic fitness craze, that's all about dancing, party-style, to exhilarating music.  A Zumba class is a full hour of continuous dancing to Latin and international social-dance music.  It provides a high level of aerobic exercise and is structured according to the same principles a interval training, alternating between fast and slow musical selections.  But unlike most fitness classes, Zumba involves virtually no talking.  You're having so much fun dancing around that you don't realize you're exercising.  Come join the party.  Call the Community Center @ 507.665.3325 for session dates. 

Hatha Yoga
Join us for a foundational yet physically challenging hatha yoga class.  Benefits of yoga can include improved circulation, a strong and flexible body and a calm mind.  We will integrate the body and mind through yoga poses and various breathing techniques.
This class focuses on foundational yoga poses, sequencing, safe technique and proper breathing.  All abilities welcome and no previous yoga experience is required.  PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN MAT.  Call 507.665.3325 for next session start date.
