The City of Le Sueur Administrative Staff provides a wide range of management and support services necessary to the operation of the City. These functions are executed by the City Administrator, City Clerk, Finance Officer, and support staff.
Our City Administrator, Richard Almich, is the chief administrative officer of the City and is responsible for the administration of all affairs of the City. He oversees and directs the operation of all departments and offices of the City (except as otherwise provided by law). These administrative functions include the supervision of all department directors as well as developing and issuing administrative policies, rules, regulations, and procedures, necessary to ensure proper management of all departments and offices.
Our City Clerk, Monica Muchow, is responsible for maintaining all official City documents and records. In addition, she serves as Chief Election Officer, issues City licenses, is responsible for the custody and disbursement of public funds and is responsible for the management of all utility billing functions as it relates to electric, water and sewer.
Our Finance Director, Linda Endres, is responsible for the management of all financial functions of the City including general ledger, budget preparation, payroll and audit preparation.
Our Emergency Services and Risk Management Director, Randy Snow serves as the City of LeSueur's Emergency Manager. As Emergency Manager, he is responsible to ensure effective and coordinated use of governmental and non-governmental resources to maximize the protection of citizens lives and property, alleviate human distress, sustain survivors and repair essential facilities and utilities.
How We Do it:
A Teamwork Approach Management of the affairs of a city with a population of 4,000 is a complex task in these days of expanding expectations and shrinking fiscal resources. Our strategic approach to management has always been a team approach to management and execution. As we bring the City's employees together for planning, strategic development and review, we appreciate the "can do" attitudes and willingness to "go the extra mile" always exhibited by our employees.
Our mission is to continue to provide the Citizens of Le Sueur with the best services possible, within our budgetary constraints.
How You Can Help:
Informed Citizens are a mainstay of a well-run community. Please continue to stay informed through "City Links" and attention to issues being considered by the City Council. |
